Robert,
Do not accept or try to cash thatcheck. It is a scam. I too was offered similar offers from people and found out the hard way that it was a scam. What they are doing is stealing peoples bank account information, then printing fake checks thinking that the bnks will cash them. What actually happens is when you deposit the check into your bank account, then withdraw so much money to forward on to the next person, you eventually end up with an overdraft in your account. The person that they want you to send the money to is in on the scam and they send hadl of what you send to them on to another person. I didnt actually deposit the money into my account, instead, I went to the bank in which the check was supposedly on, where they told me that it was a fake and a scam. If someone ever offers to send you a donation and asks you to forward or send part to someone else, dont because it is all a scam. Like people told me, if it sounds to good to be true, then it is probably too good to be true. I lived through false hope of having help with my bills and Christmas, only to have my hopes and dreams shattered by these types of people, and yes, they are very heartless. I am beginning to wonder if there are real people out there anymore that help others.
Hope my information helped you and did not confuse you.
Pamela
